2.Vitamins are required in small quantities in the diet because they cannot be synthesized in enough amount by the body.

4.Once growth and development are completed, vitamins remain essential nutrients for the healthy maintenance of the cells, tissues, and organs.
5.Vitamins don’t need digestion, they are directly absorb in the body.
6.It is present in both plant and animal sources, but plants are the rich source.
7.They themselves not provide energy. It enable the body to use the energy provided by Carbohydrates, Proteins and Lipids.
